TMS Clinician - Mental Health Clinician Bundaberg QLD

Medacs are partnering with a Mental Health Private Practice that has a new office opened in Bundaberg QLD. This is a bespoke mental health practice started by a highly regarded Psychiatrist.

The role:

This role will see you working as a Mental Health Clinician and assisting patients with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

This position will be attractive for Mental Health Clinicians who would prefer a work life balance away from the ward, working in a relaxed setting. As the role is developing, you will be split between the Private Hospital and this clinic.

You will be provided with full and extensive training on TMS and will be working in a Multi-Disciplinary team of Mental Health professionals - Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses as well as Dietitians, Social Workers and other Allied Health staff.

Your duties will be however are not limited to.

• Manage screening of suitable clients, provision of information, preparing client files and ensuring adequate documentation is collected.
• Administer treatment to patients who have been referred to have TMS treatment program
• Maintain high quality clinical notes
• Assist Psychiatrists in assessments and feedback on patient progress
• Conduct mental health questionaries / risk assessments
• Conducting NDIS worker screen and WWC Checks
• When needed, covering reception and other admin duties.

Necessary Skills:

• Mental Health Clinician experience is desirable
• Mental Health Registered Nurse, Social Worker or Psychologist can be considered
• Previous experience working with TMS would be considered an advantage however full training will also be given.
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Be an Australian Citizen or hold the relevant Visa for Employment in Australia
• Current Police Check
• Current immunization record
