Medacs Healthcare have partnered with NSW Health and are thrilled to assist our client in finding a passionate individual to join their Community team in Northern Sydney.

Location:

Northern Sydney Local Health District, Community Mental Health.

About the Roles:

In this vital position, you will support individuals facing mental health challenges, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and make a positive impact in the community.

Contract Length:

Initial 3 month contract, with the potential to extend to 6 months for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop tailored care plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient support.
  • Engage with families to provide education and resources.

To be considered for this role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing
  • A minimum of 5 years post grad experience working in a Mental Health community setting.
  • General Registration with AHPRA
  • Commitment to complete required NSW Credentialing requirements which may include up to date vaccinations and mandatory training modules
  • Be an Australian Citizen or hold the relevant visa for employment in Australia
