Registered Nurse - Aged Care

The Opportunity

Currently, we have several clients across the Central & Wider Auckland region needing additional support at their facilities. So Medacs Healthcare welcomes applications from Registered Nurses who would thrive when tasked with the challenge of looking after some of our most vulnerable New Zealanders.

By joining our pool of nurses, you will have access to several opportunities across a range of aged care groups and independent homes. Not to mention, you will have the flexibility to choose what hours work for you! We have options to suit all your needs so if you're looking for permanent opportunities instead, we can help with this too!

Skills & Experience

• At least 12-months NZ Nursing Experience or 6-months NZ experience post CAP course completion
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the NZ Nursing Council
• Proven nursing experience in Aged Care is preferred.
• Be proficient with the use of hoists and transfer aids or current Manual handling certification.
• Medimap experience or the ability to pick up IT systems quickly
• Valid NZ work VISA essential
