Registered Nurse - Urgent Care

The opportunity:

Our clients are one of the New Zealand's largest providers of Urgent Care services. They are seen as leaders within the dynamic healthcare environment and proudly work together to serve their community.

We are currently seeking experienced urgent care nurses to join our Temp team. This position will allow you to pick up flexible shifts as and when suits your schedule. The role will be ideal for someone wanting flexibility and work-life balance.

No two days will be the same. In this role, you will be working across diverse cultures, delivering primary and urgent care to patients. Work alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses and doctors to ensure patients gain the best possible experience.

Location: Across Auckland

Shifts: AM, PM, NIGHT (work around your availability)

Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients
• Provide key nursing duties including wound care, dressings and plastering
• Medications and vaccinations
• Provide one on one advice to patients
• Keeping up to date with patient documentation

Key Requirements:

• At least 12-months NZ Clinical Nursing experience or 6-months NZ experience post CAP course completion
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the NZ Nursing Council
• Intravenous Fluid Certificate (desirable)
• Indemnity Insurance (desirable)
• Current CPR, Basic Life Support or First Aid Certification
• Fully vaccinated again COVID-19
