We are seeking Registered Nurse's to join our team of Nurse Educators to help cover a range of short-term contracts in Central & West Auckland. Working through the Medacs contracting team, you will be part of a respected tertiary education facility who are passionate about developing the next generation of NZ nurses.
This position will require you to assist and supervise nursing students on their Clinical placements as well as helping to mark their modules.
You will receive guidance from the Course Leader to assist you with delivering the relevant teaching and learning experiences for students.
Currently we're needing Nurse Educators who can assist with the following clinical placement:
30th October 2023 until 24th November 2023 - 4 weeks (Monday - Friday | 0645 - 1500)
Note: you must be available to commit to the full duration of the contract to be considered for the role.
This is at first a 4-week assignment, however there will be further opportunities available.
Essential Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in NZ with appropriate immigration visa.
At least 12-months NZ Nursing experience
Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the NZ Nursing Council
Post-Grad Certifications are highly desirable.
Current CPR, Basic Life Support or First Aid Certification
Immunization History
Be willing to undergo pre-employment health screening.
Be able to work independently and at times and be able to remain calm to ensure the Student Nurses also remain calm during placements.
