The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to work at one of our client's residential care facilities in New Plymouth. Conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from New Plymouth CBD, this cosy facility offers variety across rest home, hospital, palliative and respite care. Ideally, you'll be available for full time work (40 hours) on a rostered basis, but this can be negotiated to suit your availability.

As a Registered Nurse some of your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Guiding and providing advice to Healthcare Assistants and Enrolled Nurses
• Ensure resident care plans are developed and maintained
• Uphold a safe and secure environment for residents
• Liaise with residents' families as required
• Assist with medication administration.

What are the key requirements to be a successful candidate for this job?

• NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
• The ability to learn and pick up on systems
• InterRai experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to take the lead and work efficiently under pressure
• Eligibility to work in NZ with appropriate immigration visa
