The Opportunity

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting casual Surgical Registered Nurses to meet the increase in demand from our various clients across Central Auckland and North Shore. However, if you're looking for something more permanent or fixed-term, talk to us anyway about how we can assist you!

When you join Medacs Healthcare as a Registered Nurse, we can offer you flexible shifts and offer you work based on your availability.

As a Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be required to:

• Work across a variety of Surgical settings such as: Endoscopy, Pre & post-operative, Theatres and more!
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide healthcare support to patients and their whanau
• Work collaboratively to provide timely, proficient, patient-centred services for all patients.
• Be Responsible for Medication Administration and Clinical Documentation

Key Requirements:

• At least 12-months NZ Surgical Nursing experience or 6-months NZ experience post CAP course completion
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the NZ Nursing Council
• Intravenous Fluid Certificate (desirable)
• Indemnity Insurance (desirable)
• Current CPR, Basic Life Support or First Aid Certification
