The Role - PRACTICE NURSE

Our client operates a successful general practice in Central Auckland that offers a wide range of GP services. As such, they are looking for a Practice Nurse to support the smooth running of the clinic and provide quality care to all patients who walk through the door. Ideally you also will be a seasoned vaccinator and smear taker with a current certificate.

This is a permanent position working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 0900 - 18:30 (have a mid-week break with Wednesdays off!) plus only 1 out of every 3 Saturday mornings.

Experience and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Practice Nurse is preferred
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the NZ Nursing Council
  • Experience with Medtech 32 or the ability to pick up IT system quickly
  • Hold a current Vaccinator and Smear Taker certificate is advantageous
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
