Job summary

We are looking to expand our team of Theatre contract Nurses in Central Auckland. As part of our contracting team, you will take on either a part time or full-time contract which will be ongoing for a minimum of 3 months. Shifts will be 0730-1600 Monday-Friday only ... no nights or weekends! Ensuring you can enjoy the work life balance you deserve!

In this role you will operate in modern surroundings with a supportive team committed to delivering excellence in quality of care to patients. You will be orientated to the unit and be an integral team member whilst you are there. You will deliver the appropriate nursing care to your assigned patients. As part of the team you will also assist your team members to ensure the facility functions smoothly. Your shifts will be pre-booked which offers our candidates more financial security as well as weekly pay, competitive market rates and a free uniform when you join our team!

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Right to work in NZ is essential
  • Have at least 1 years Surgical Nursing Experience in NZ
  • Hold a Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the NZ Nursing Council
  • Current Indemnity Insurance
  • Be able to provide referee details of x2 past Clinical Managers who can confirm your Nursing experience
  • Must hold a valid and in date First aid or CPR certification
  • Positive energy, enthusiastic attitude, team focused
  • A strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be vaccinated against Covid-19
  • Be willing to undergo pre-employment occupational health checks
  • You will already have at least 1 year of recent theatre experience

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary perioperative team, have a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice, excellent communication skills and a real commitment to providing excellent care. You will be part of a high performing, tight knit and supportive team who all have a common passion, care and enthusiasm for delivering a high-quality experience and outcome for patients and stakeholders
