Healthcare Assistant

We are currently experiencing a high volume in hospital shifts and are looking for Healthcare Assistants who are able to work the following days:

• Week day shifts

As a Medacs Agency Staff member working within the acute setting of the public or private Healthcare system you will be responsible for:

• Provide personal cares to patients
• Assistance with activities of daily living - toileting, eating, drinking, ironing clothes, ensuring patient clothes are named, sending clothes to laundry etc
• Assisting with patient transfers
• Assisting Nurses and Allied Health staff with procedures/ workload
• Participating in activities of the facility

Experience:

• Healthcare Assistant (Level 3 or Level 4) qualification with a minimum of 6 months recent experience
• 2nd or 3rd Year Nursing Student
• Overseas Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years of experience in a Nursing role.
• MUST have right to work in New Zealand
