Dental Specialist - Orthodontics - Auckland

This role is not for the faint hearted with some of the most specialist orthodontic cases in the country you will be an expert in your field who thrives on challenging cases.

The Opportunity:

This is a full time, Monday through to Friday position providing high quality specialist orthodontist services to patients with cleft lip and palate (CLP) and severe craniofacial deformities in outpatient and 'virtual' clinics and if required in operating room settings.

The core of what you will do is deliver individualised orthodontic services to assigned patients, including conducting initial assessments (FSA), developing diagnoses, problem lists and management plans, providing clinical care, conducting recalls and reviews.

This brand also understands the importance of maintaining good record keeping and keeping up with any educational needs so you will have one day per week to focus on non -clinical work.

Here is what you will bring:

• An organised problem-solver with a strong work ethic
• A good collaborator with the ability to manage and coach others
• BDS or equivalent dental qualification recognised by the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ)
• Post-graduate qualification with registration as an Orthodontic Specialist in New Zealand or Australia; or two years full time equivalent postgraduate training in this field.
• Australian/New Zealand Residency or be eligible to apply for a work visa
