Medacs Healthcare has opportunities for experienced and passionate registered allied healthcare professionals nationwide.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Delivering client-centred, evidenced based rehabilitation assessment and intervention
- Working within an allied health led, multi-disciplinary team to support clients to address their rehabilitation goals including active participation in multi-disciplinary case conferences
- Leading the delivery of group-based pain rehabilitation programs
- Actively participating in service development and planning
- Undertaking staff and student teaching and supervision as required
ESSENTIAL:
- Extensive clinical knowledge, skills and leadership experience in physiotherapy.
- Demonstrated sound advanced clinical assessment and analysis skills and knowledge, and ability to implement indicated treatments for individuals and groups.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Understanding of relevant accreditation and funding systems, and demonstrated ability to manage continuous improvement portfolio
- Demonstrated computer literacy, including ability to access and utilise organisational IT systems and emerging technologies which are relevant to the completion of clinical care.
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs, issues and sensitivities of people from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding of opportunities and challenges associated with providing rural health care services.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Certificates, licences and registrations:
- Current valid 'C' class Victorian driver's licence
- Current employee police check
- Current employee Working with Children's check.
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
Other requirements:
Current evidence of immunisation history and / or serology results
Personal Qualities, Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated highly effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills in client care and staff relationships.
- Demonstrated solution-focussed approach to caseload management, ability to work flexibility & independently to manage a productive caseload.
