I’m a client of Medacs working with our consultant on placing Remote Area Nurses into our WA Clinics. On a number of occasions, I’ve asked for delivery on 'near impossible' requests – like providing our request on Thursday afternoon for a Monday mobilisation. We’ve never been let down, receiving quality candidates to help us continue our service to some of the most isolated and vulnerable people on the planet. I work with a lot of agencies that promise the world and deliver very little. Medacs is one of our most valuable partners here at NHS.

Medacs have been supplying Mental Health Nurses with the Wagga Wagga Mental Health team since April 2018. The service we receive has been outstanding and our requests are always dealt with timely and professionally. The nurses put forward for our roles met the criteria of the role as well as the cultural fit we require for our services.

My experience of Medacs has been a positive one since first applying online. The response and the service genuine and enjoyable. I’ve been a contracting mental health nurse for several years and worked with various agencies. Medacs in both New Zealand and Australia have supported me throughout numerous roles and always ensure I am well supported throughout the recruitment process as well as throughout the working role.

My experience with Medacs has been excellent and rewarding. The Medacs team are helpful and attentive in all aspects from professionally liaising on the phone, emailing, and offering multiple opportunities with the different DHBs. They help arrange interviews, negotiating relocation and the salary with the DHB managers. They were flexible and professional, always willing to clear any doubts and providing ideas as well as explanations for applying for a visa.

Our Medacs consultant took on board previous discussions we’ve had had about trying new things and produced a whole new location for us. We've felt supported. We have relationships with other agencies who touch base with us during our contract, but it they don’t have the same personal touch and I think it’s was more of a "ticking the box exercise" rather than a genuine interest into how we were are going.

Searching for work overseas can seem overwhelming and there are many things to stress about going through the process alone.
