About You:
Essential:
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experienced OT including competency to: determine the occupational roles, performance and functional level of individuals.
- Assess the occupational environment.
- Establish therapeutic goals and appropriate intervention.
- Prescribe equipment and modifications that will enhance function or safety.
- Plan safe discharge
Personal Qualities, Knowledge and Skills:
- High level of self-confidence
- Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse range of people at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.
- A personal approach which is positive, enthusiastic, friendly and helpful

- The ability to participate in the development, implementation and review of training programs for staff, families and carers
- Experience working with people with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, development and learning delays and behavioural issues
- Experience in providing fine gross, visual motor skills/handwriting/pencil grips/hand skills, Sensory processing and muscle strength, play, attention, concentration and school readiness prodromal (personal activities of daily living) CALD (community activities of daily living); productivity, leisure, sleep, travel education, car safety, work skills and social safety
