Medacs Healthcare are assisting a hospital in regional Tasmania source a permanent Assistant Nurse Manager for their Renal Ward, beginning immediately.
The role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will demonstrate an ability to provide safe and quality nursing care to patients, utilising the primary nursing model of care and nursing competency standards. You will undertake comprehensive assessments of each patient to ascertain care needs, regularly evaluate the outcomes of care provided through reviews and assessments, maintaining up to date and accurate documentation in patient records.

    Salary Packaging
    Payment of $15,000 staged over three years is available for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full time for three years or more, on top of relocation allowance already available.
    Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
Skills & Experience:
  • Registered Nurse qualification
    Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualification required
    Current experience in an acute hospital environment with clinical knowledge and clinical problem-solving ability.
    Division 1 AHPRA registration or eligibility to apply
