Medacs Healthcare is proud to partner with a respected healthcare provider in regional Victoria to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join their Residential Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of some of the most vulnerable older members of our community.

About the Role

As a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care across multiple residential care facilities. You will be responsible for a broad range of assessments and interventions, including:

• Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments
• Cognitive assessments and strategy development
• Falls risk assessments and interventions
• Splinting, seating, and pressure care management
• Equipment and wheelchair prescription
• Education for clients, families, and staff

You will also play a key role in the ongoing development of occupational therapy services within Residential Services.

Key Details

• Location: Regional Victoria
• Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
• Hours: 32 hours per fortnight
• Pay Rate: $45.66 - $52.49 per hour (based on experience)
• Start Date: As soon as possible (with 2 weeks on-boarding prior to commencement)

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
• Eligibility for membership with OT Australia
• Demonstrated experience and clinical skills appropriate to a Grade 2 level
• Strong ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent time management and goal-setting capabilities

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Immunisation Records
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence
• Valid Right to Work in Australia
