Job summary
We are looking to expand our team of Theatre Nurses in Central Auckland to support our clients' surgical facilities. As part of our team, you will take on either a part time or full-time work based on your availability. Shifts will be Monday-Friday only! - no nights or weekends! Ensuring you can enjoy the work life balance you deserve!
In this role you will operate in modern surroundings with a supportive team committed to delivering excellence in quality of care to patients. You will be orientated to the unit and be an integral team member whilst you are there. As part of the team you will also assist your team members to ensure the facility functions smoothly. Your shifts will be pre-booked (either on a casual or short-term contract basis) which offers our candidates more financial security as well as weekly pay, competitive market rates and a free uniform when you join our team!
Essential Skills & Experience
- Right to work in NZ is essential
- Hold a Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the NZ Nursing Council
- You will already have at least 1 year of recent Theatre experience
- Current Indemnity Insurance
- Be able to provide referee details of x2 past Clinical Managers who can confirm your Nursing experience
- Must hold a valid and in date First aid or CPR certification
- Be willing to undergo pre-employment occupational health checks
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary perioperative team, have a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice, excellent communication skills and a real commitment to providing excellent care.
