We're looking for passionate Mental Health Clinicians (psychology, social work, mental health nursing, occupational therapy, counselling or psychotherapy) to become part of our locum forensic clinician team across regional and rural Australia.
About the role:
- Provide forensic mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with correctional services, legal professionals, and community agencies.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Advocate for clients and support their reintegration into the community.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, or related field.
- Registration with relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW).
- Experience in forensic mental health or correctional settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, risk assessment, and case management skills.
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally safe practices.
