Emergency Registered Nurses (RN) - Mackay Base Hospital

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Emergency Registered Nurses to join the team at Mackay Base Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy regional coastal hospital, providing high-quality care in a Level 4 Emergency Department that sees over 150 patients per day.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years Emergency Department experience
• ALS, Resus and Triage certification
• BLS competency
• Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
• Manual and patient handling
• Infection control
• Aggressive behaviour management
• Mandatory reporting for child abuse and neglect
• Medication management including QPHS regulations
• Ability to work full-time rotating shifts (8, 10, 12 hours) including weekends
• Must meet all QLD Health compliance requirements
• CV and two written references required
