Physiotherapist - Locum

We're looking for a dedicated and motivated Physiotherapist to work closely with other Allied Health professionals to provide exceptional patient care on a 3 month contract.

Key Details:

• Location: Tamworth, New South Wales
• Position: Full-time (38 hours/week)
• Caseload: Inpatient (medical and surgical)
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Duration: 3 months
• Accommodation: Supported (health provided accommodation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient's physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and pain levels.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings and medical history
• Assist patients in recovering from surgical procedures by implementing specific rehabilitation protocols.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Valid right to work in Australia
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
• At least 2 years relevant Physiotherapy experience in Australia
