Requirements to apply

• Degree in Mental Health Nursing
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration
• A minimum of two years experience in mental health acute community settings, preferably in regional, rural areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualised care plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Offer crisis intervention and support.
• Collaborate with health care professionals, community organisations, and support services.
• Educate and empower clients and their families about mental health.
