About the Role
As part of our dedicated team, you will provide expert clinical leadership in identifying and responding to sexual assault and family violence. Your work will include risk assessment, safety planning, and forensic examination, while guiding multidisciplinary teams to ensure respectful, effective care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist consultation and coordinate complex cases
- Educate and train staff on trauma-informed care and SAFE service processes
- Develop and maintain evidence-based policies and procedures
- Work closely with community partners, law enforcement, child protection, and statewide SAFE services
- Lead quality improvement and data collection initiatives
- Mentor and support nursing, midwifery, and medical staff
- Participate in an on-call roster when required
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (preferred)
- Experience in sexual assault, family violence, mental health, or emergency care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and safety planning
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning
Position Details
- Permanent, part-time (up to 45.6 hours per fortnight), day shifts with on-call requirements
- Salary: $114,851-$121,886 per annum (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation
- Additional allowances for postgraduate qualifications
- Relocation assistance up to $15,000 (overseas) or $10,000 (interstate)

Eligibility
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current Working with Children Registration
- Postgraduate qualification in forensic or family violence care (desirable)
