These roles are based in the North & North West regions of Tasmania, offering clinicians with strong clinical skills an exciting opportunity during a time of reform and service expansion.

  • CAMHS

  • Continuing Care Team

Key Responsibilities:

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a mental health setting, either in Community, ED/Triage, or inpatient units.
    • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Skilled in managing complex cases, including clients under the Mental Health Act.
    • Proficient in conducting Mental Health assessments, including Mental State and Risk assessments.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
    • Offer therapeutic support and interventions to promote recovery and wellbeing.
    • Ensure patient safety and manage risk, including responding to behavioral crises.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent and relevant Mental Health Experience
  • General Registration with AHPRA
  • Commitment to complete required client specific credentialing requirements
  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship provided)
  • Flexibility to commence at short notice
