Maintenance Officer - Rural/ Remote Aged Care

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general facility upkeep
• Complete routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and unexpected issues
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and escalate major concerns
• Work cooperatively with onsite staff to support smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a maintenance or trade role within aged care, healthcare, commercial, or similar environments
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting
• Strong practical problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Current unrestricted driver's licence (manual)
• Relevant trade qualifications (highly regarded)
• NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• COVID-19 & Flu vaccinations
• Respectful, compassionate, and committed to supporting older Australians and Indigenous peoples
