These roles sit within a multidisciplinary AMS team, delivering mental health support across the lifespan and contributing to holistic social and emotional wellbeing programs.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide community‑based mental health assessment, therapeutic intervention and case management, supporting individuals, families and communities. You will work closely with GPs, Aboriginal Health Workers, AOD teams and external services, delivering trauma‑informed care within a primary health care model.

  • Experience working in mental health within community settings is a must
  • Strong understanding of, or commitment to, cultural safety and respectful practice
  • Experience or interest in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team (especially in regional/remote settings)

What's On Offer

  • Competitive agency rates

  • Travel and accommodation support (for regional & remote roles)
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within community‑controlled health services
  • Supportive onboarding and ongoing consultant support
