Are you an experienced Mental Health Clinician looking for meaningful work in a supportive community setting? We are seeking passionate and skilled clinicians to join community mental health services across Regional QLD.

About the Role

In this community-based position, you will provide recovery-focused mental health support to adults experiencing moderate to severe mental health concerns. You'll deliver assessments, care planning, therapeutic interventions, and outreach support as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to improving mental health outcomes across Regional QLD regions. Specialities include CYMHS, Older Persons, Adult Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments
  • Develop and implement individualised care and recovery plans
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external service providers
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and multidisciplinary planning

About You

  • Degree-qualified Mental Health Clinician (RN - Mental Health, Social Worker, Clinical Psychologist)
  • AHPRA or relevant professional registration (where applicable)
  • Minimum of at least 2 years post graduate experience working in community mental health, acute mental health, or case management
  • Confident in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic engagement
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • CIMHA Experience highly desirable
