About the Role

Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced and motivated Remote Area Nurses to deliver high quality primary healthcare within a unique Aboriginal Medical Service in the Northern Territory.

This role is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are new to remote practice or looking to further build on their remote experience.

We offer 6-12 week locum contracts supporting primary healthcare teams in remote community clinics.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 5 years' RN experience in Australia, including emergency care experience and confidence working on‑call
• Manual driver's licence 🚙
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Immunisation Provider 💉

Highly Desirable:

• Advanced Life Support (ALS)
• Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Remote Emergency Care (REC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Maternity Emergency Care (MEC)
• Pharmacotherapeutics
• Post‑graduate qualifications
• Experience in Australian primary healthcare, remote clinics, or rural emergency settings
