Medacs are partnering with a hospital in Tasmania for a Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac Services role. Join a highly skilled cardiac team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac Services to provide advanced clinical care within a dynamic hospital environment

About the Role
In this advanced practice role, you will:
- Perform comprehensive cardiac assessments and develop individualised care plans
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
- Work collaboratively with cardiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
- Provide education to patients and families on cardiac health and disease management
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
- Support and mentor junior nursing staff
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
- A Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing (or equivalent)
- Significant experience in cardiac or critical care settings
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
