Medacs are partnering with a hospital in Tasmania for a Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac Services role. Join a highly skilled cardiac team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac Services to provide advanced clinical care within a dynamic hospital environment

About the Role

In this advanced practice role, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive cardiac assessments and develop individualised care plans
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
  • Work collaboratively with cardiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
  • Provide education to patients and families on cardiac health and disease management
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
  • Support and mentor junior nursing staff

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
  • A Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in cardiac or critical care settings
  • Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
