About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department RN for a contract in a busy regional hospital in Geraldton. This role offers exposure to a fast-paced ED environment, working across Triage and Resus Cubicles, managing a diverse range of acute presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy ED setting
• Work across Triage and Resuscitation areas
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritisation
• Provide advanced life support and emergency interventions
• Care for critically unwell and intubated patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure situations

Essential Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Proven experience in Emergency Department nursing
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (essential)
• Triage certification (formal + clinical evidence required)
• Strong resuscitation skills, including:
  • Initial intubation support
  • Management of intubated patients
  • Experience using a Hamilton ventilator
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced regional ED
