Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED/HDU)

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting short-term contract in Whyalla, South Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across the Emergency Department (ED) and High Dependency Unit (HDU) in a rewarding regional setting.

🔹 The Role

You will be working in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing high-quality nursing care across ED and HDU. This role is ideal for nurses who are confident, adaptable, and enjoy working in regional healthcare settings.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care within ED and HDU
• Perform patient assessments, monitoring, and interventions
• Respond effectively in emergency and critical care situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

🔹 Essential Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
• Experience in HDU or critical care highly desirable
• ALS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
