Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced Mental Health Clinicians to join a leading community mental health service 2 hours from Melbourne. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support adults aged 26 years and over experiencing acute, complex and ongoing mental health challenges. You will deliver high-quality, recovery-focused care that empowers consumers, families and carers throughout their mental health journey.

About the Role
As a Community Mental Health Clinician, you will:
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including urgent and routine presentations.
  • Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions within a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed framework.
  • Develop care plans, safety plans and discharge plans alongside consumers, families and carers.
  • Provide individual, family and group-based therapeutic support.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external service providers.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
A qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for the relevant professional membership body.
  • A minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience within mental health services.
  • Strong assessment, communication, care coordination and clinical decision-making skills.
  • A commitment to trauma-informed, culturally safe and person-centred practice.
