Medacs Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 12-week contract in Geraldton, Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy regional Emergency Department, working across triage, resuscitation and acute emergency presentations while enjoying an incredible coastal lifestyle.

About the Role

You will be working within a busy regional hospital Emergency Department, providing care across:

Triage
Resuscitation cubicles
Acute and emergency presentations
Care of critically ill and ventilated patients
Emergency response and rapid patient assessment

This role is suited to a confident ED nurse with strong clinical decision-making skills and experience managing high-acuity patients.

Essential Requirements

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Recent Emergency Department experience
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Formal Triage Certification with supporting clinical evidence
Strong resuscitation experience
Experience with:

Initial intubation management
Care of intubated patients
Hamilton ventilators
