Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced Assistants in Nursing who are Medication Competent for Aged Care contracts across Residential Aged Care Facilities and Multi-Purpose Services in regional, rural and remote Australia.

These roles are primarily focused on Aged Care, supporting residents in RACF and MPS environments. Previous experience in Residential Aged Care, Multi-Purpose Services, Sub-Acute, Hospital or Acute settings will be highly regarded, particularly for facilities caring for residents with higher or more complex support needs.

What You'll Bring

  • 1+ year recent Aged Care AIN experience
  • Medication competency, including experience assisting with or administering medications within scope and facility policy
  • Experience in Residential Aged Care Facilities, RACF or MPS settings
  • Previous Acute, Medical, Surgical, Rehabilitation, Sub-Acute or Hospital experience highly regarded
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Health Services Assistance or equivalent
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current vaccination evidence as required by the facility
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • A caring, reliable and team-focused approach
