About the Role

- The health service provides general and specialist healthcare to men and women in prison
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering person-centred nursing care and clinical interventions
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and records
- Collaborating with medical and allied health professionals
- Supporting health promotion and patient education initiatives
- Participating in quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities
- Contributing to a positive team culture and safe clinical environment
- Providing leadership and support to colleagues when required
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Previous experience working in Primary Care or Forensic setting
- Demonstrated clinical nursing experience and strong assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- The capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to patient advocacy, safety, and continuous improvement
- Strong organisational and clinical documentation skills
- An interest in working with diverse and often complex patient populations
