Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding rural and remote contract in South Australia? We are seeking a skilled and adaptable RN to join the team at Tumby Bay Multi-Purpose Service (MPS), providing care across the Emergency Department, Acute Care, and Aged Care settings.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Tumby Bay MPS, you will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering safe, high-quality patient care across multiple clinical areas. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to work confidently in a rural healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care within the Emergency Department, Acute, and Aged Care units.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualised care plans.
• Respond effectively to emergency presentations and deteriorating patients.
• Collaborate with medical officers and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handovers.
• Support a patient-centred approach to care in a rural setting.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Recent experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Demonstrated experience in Acute Care and/or Aged Care.
• Current BLS certification (ALS desirable).
• Ability to work across a variety of clinical settings.
• National Police Clearance and relevant immunisation evidence.
