Medacs Healthcare is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Lifestyle Coordinators to join aged care providers across regional and remote Australia. About You
To be successful, you will have:
- At least 12 months' experience in a Lifestyle Coordinator or comparable position
- A relevant Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Health, Recreation, Community Services, Individual Support, or a related discipline
- A current National Police Check
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
- Creative, energetic, and highly organised
- Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and open to regional and remote placements
About the Role
As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you'll be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs that promote independence, social connection, and quality of life for residents.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Developing and coordinating individual and group activities
- Creating meaningful lifestyle programs aligned with resident interests
- Supporting resident engagement and social participation
- Organising special events, celebrations, and community outings
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining relevant documentation and care records
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
