About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for an exciting contract opportunity in Stanthorpe, Queensland, within the Darling Downs region. This role offers the chance to work in a diverse rural healthcare setting, providing emergency care while supporting broader patient needs across the facility.

The successful candidate will be a confident clinician with strong emergency nursing skills, capable of leading shifts, managing triage, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Advanced Life Support (ALS)
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation
• Cannulation competency
• Recent Emergency Department experience
• Triage experience
• Team Leader experience
• Ability to manage a designated patient load
• Willingness to participate in the care of aged care residents as required
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
