About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (ED) for a contract opportunity in the beautiful Barossa Region, South Australia. This role will see you working across both the Emergency Department and Ward, providing high-quality patient care in a rural healthcare setting.

The successful candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, have strong triage skills, and be capable of taking on team leadership responsibilities when required.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Recent Emergency Department experience
• Demonstrated triage experience
• Current ALS certification
• Ability to team lead and support junior staff
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

Desirable

• PALS certification
• Previous rural and remote nursing experience
• Emergency Nursing qualification
