About the Role

As a Remote Area Nurse, you'll deliver holistic primary healthcare services to remote communities, including:

• Emergency and acute presentations
• Chronic disease management
• Child and family health services
• Health promotion and education
• Immunisation programs
• On-call and after-hours support
• Culturally safe and community-focused healthcare

This is a highly rewarding role where you'll work autonomously, expand your clinical skills, and make a genuine impact on the health outcomes of remote communities.

What You'll Need

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Strong emergency care experience and ability to participate in on-call rosters
• Current or working towards ALS, PALS, REC, MEC, Immuniser and RIPRN qualifications (or equivalent)
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia
• Remote area, rural or primary healthcare experience highly regarded
• Postgraduate qualifications welcome
