About the Role

Working within remote and regional primary healthcare settings, you'll provide comprehensive healthcare services across a broad scope of practice, including:

  • Emergency and acute presentations
  • Chronic disease management
  • Preventative health programs
  • Community and primary healthcare services
  • Health promotion and education
  • Care coordination and outreach services
  • Participation in on-call rosters where required

Essential Requirements

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia

  • Strong emergency care experience and ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to participate in on-call rosters where required

  • Current manual driver's licence

  • Current qualifications, or willingness to obtain:

    • Advanced Life Support (ALS)
    • Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
    • Remote Emergency Care (REC) or TNCC
    • Maternity Emergency Care (MEC)
    • Immunisation Provider Certificate
    • Pharmacotherapeutics qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within Australian primary healthcare, rural or remote settings highly regarded

  • Postgraduate qualifications welcomed
