About the Role

Medacs Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for an exciting rural nursing contract in Sarina, Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your clinical skills while experiencing the relaxed lifestyle of a coastal Queensland community.

You will work across a dynamic Emergency Department environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Nurses with prior rural and remote experience will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Recent Emergency Department experience
• Current ALS (Advanced Life Support)
• Triage competency
• Rural nursing experience
• Experience using ieMR
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
