About the Role

Medacs Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a rewarding contract opportunity in Port Broughton, South Australia. This leadership role is ideal for a confident ED nurse who thrives in a rural setting and can effectively manage a diverse clinical workload across emergency presentations, acute inpatient care, and Transitional Care Program (TCP) clients.

You will play a key role in coordinating patient care, supporting staff, and ensuring high standards of clinical practice within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Extensive Emergency Department nursing experience
• Previous leadership or team leader experience preferred
• Ability to manage ED presentations and acute inpatient care
• Experience caring for Transitional Care Program (TCP) clients
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
• Rural and remote nursing experience highly regarded
