For many nurses, correctional health becomes one of the most interesting and professionally rewarding areas they've worked in.

New to Correctional Health?
Not every great correctional health nurse starts in correctional health.
If you have a strong primary healthcare background and are interested in exploring this specialised field, we'd still love to hear from you. Many of the skills developed in community health, remote nursing, emergency care and chronic disease management transfer exceptionally well into correctional healthcare.
We'll happily discuss current vacancies, role expectations and whether this could be the right next step for your career.
Sometimes the best opportunities are the ones you hadn't considered before.
