Looking for work that's meaningful and a little different? We're looking for experienced and multi-skilled Personal Care Assistants for contracts with aged care services in remote and Indigenous communities across the Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia and other rural sites across Australia.
You'll support Elders with daily living, comfort and dignity, and help them stay connected to culture and community.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting residents with personal care, mobility, meals and daily activities
- Supporting residents' social, emotional and cultural wellbeing
- Reporting changes in residents' health to the nursing team
- Keeping care notes accurate and up to date
- Working as part of a close-knit care team
What you'll bring
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- Recent aged care experience
- Remote or Indigenous community experience (highly regarded)
- A caring, reliable and culturally respectful approach
Compliance
- Current CPR and First Aid
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening
- Current year flu vaccination
