We're currently seeking interest from qualified and experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our locum pool for upcoming casual shifts across Greater Sydney and Wollongong in NSW.

About the Role:
As a locum Mental Health Support Worker, you'll be placed with NDIS clients through our trusted agency partnerships. You'll provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to individuals living with psychosocial disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialised support to participants with Autism, ABI, mental health conditions, and complex behaviours in AMS-operated accommodations, their homes, and the community.
  • Deliver recovery-oriented support aligned with NDIS goals and plans.
  • Assist clients with daily living, community engagement, and skill development.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards.

We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in mental health or NDIS support work
  • Cert IV in Mental Health, Disability, or equivalent (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and psychosocial disability
  • Ability & willingness to obtain Basic Life Support, Working With Children Checks, and NDIS Worker Screening.
  • Flexibility to work within a 24/7 rotating roster, including overnight shifts and weekends.
