Social and Emotional Wellbeing Worker
Location: Western Australia
Employment type: Full‑time / Contract / FIFO
We are seeking a Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Worker to support individuals, families and communities through culturally safe, trauma‑informed, and holistic care. This role focuses on strengthening social, emotional, cultural and spiritual wellbeing, working alongside clients to promote healing, connection, and self‑determination.
About the Role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:
- Provide culturally responsive, person‑centred support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Deliver emotional, social, and practical support aligned with social and emotional wellbeing frameworks
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, families, and community
- Support care coordination and advocacy across health, mental health, and social services
- Contribute to strengths‑based assessments, care planning, and goal setting
- Work collaboratively with Elders, community organisations, and service providers
About You
You will bring:
- Experience working in social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, community services or a related field
- Strong understanding of the social, cultural and historical factors impacting wellbeing
- A culturally respectful, trauma‑informed approach to care
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualification in Community Services, Mental Health, Social Work, or similar
