We are seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join our high-performing Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab) team
This service provides advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiology care to adult patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Our Cath Lab operates 24/7, delivering critical services including emergency STEMI response and complex cardiac procedures using cutting-edge technology.

About the Role
In this role, you will play a key part across all stages of patient care-pre, intra, and post procedure-supporting a wide range of cardiac interventions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care throughout the procedural journey
- Performing roles such as scrub nurse, circulating nurse, and procedural sedation (within scope)
- Assisting with procedures including coronary angiography, PCI, electrophysiology studies, device implantation, and structural heart interventions
- Monitoring haemodynamic status and responding rapidly to patient deterioration
- Maintaining high standards in infection control, sterile practice, and radiation safety
- Supporting efficient case flow and optimal utilisation of Cath Lab resources
- Participating in on-call services, including emergency cardiac responses (e.g. Code STEMI)
- Contributing to education initiatives, quality improvement, and service development
About You
You are a highly capable and adaptable nurse with strong clinical judgement and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years post graduate nursing experience
- At least 3 years in Cath Lab
- Demonstrated ability to manage acutely unwell patients and clinical deterioration
- Proven experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Highly Desirable Skills
- ECG interpretation and advanced haemodynamic monitoring
- Knowledge of interventional cardiology or structural heart procedures
- Experience with procedural sedation
- Understanding of radiation safety principles
- Competency in cannulation and sterile technique
- Current (or working towards) BLS and ALS certification
- Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
What We Offer
- Salary: $80,524 - $109,175 (pro rata) + 12% superannuation
- Opportunities to progress to Grade 4 classification
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% (where applicable)

Details of Appointment
- Multiple Permanent Part Time and Fixed Term Part Time (up to 12 months) roles
- Working between 48-64 hours per fortnight (negotiable)
- Includes participation in on-call roster
- Commencing as soon as possible
