About the Role

As a Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will work within multidisciplinary teams delivering recovery-oriented, consumer-centred care to individuals experiencing a range of mental health presentations.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Mental health and risk assessments
  • Care planning and review
  • Medication administration
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation
  • Therapeutic engagement and consumer advocacy
  • Clinical documentation and reporting
  • Collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health teams

What You'll Need

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years' recent Mental Health nursing experience
  • Experience in Acute Mental Health, Community Mental Health, Crisis Services, ED Mental Health and/or CAMHS highly regarded
  • Current National Police Check
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current driver's licence desirable for some locations
  • Willingness to complete NurseWest onboarding requirements
