About the Role
As a Mental Health Nurse, you will provide high-quality care and support to consumers experiencing a range of mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery-focused care across inpatient, community, or acute mental health settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and crisis support.
• Administer and monitor medications in line with clinical guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and allied health professionals.
• Promote recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care practices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Qualifications in Mental Health Nursing
• Recent Mental Health nursing experience
• Current National Police Check
• Working With Children Check (where applicable)
• Excellent communication and assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
