About the Role

As a Mental Health Inpatient RN, you'll join multidisciplinary teams delivering high‑quality, recovery‑focused care to consumers experiencing acute and complex mental health presentations.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Mental state examinations and risk assessments

  • Care planning, implementation and evaluation

  • Medication administration and monitoring

  • Crisis intervention, de‑escalation and behavioural support

  • Trauma‑informed, consumer‑centred care

  • Collaborative work with medical, nursing and allied health teams

  • Accurate clinical documentation and case notes

What You'll Need

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

  • Minimum 2 years recent Mental Health Inpatient experience

  • Experience in acute, HDU, PICU, sub‑acute or older persons MH

  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • Relevant state‑based clearances as required

  • Full Australian working rights

  • Current driver's licence desirable for certain locations
