About the Role
As a Mental Health Inpatient RN, you'll join multidisciplinary teams delivering high‑quality, recovery‑focused care to consumers experiencing acute and complex mental health presentations.
Your responsibilities may include:
Mental state examinations and risk assessments
Care planning, implementation and evaluation
Medication administration and monitoring
Crisis intervention, de‑escalation and behavioural support
Trauma‑informed, consumer‑centred care
Collaborative work with medical, nursing and allied health teams
Accurate clinical documentation and case notes
What You'll Need
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years recent Mental Health Inpatient experience
Experience in acute, HDU, PICU, sub‑acute or older persons MH
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Relevant state‑based clearances as required
Full Australian working rights
Current driver's licence desirable for certain locations
